Origin: Germany

Founded in 1919 by Wilhelm Breuninger in the German Bundesland of Mecklenburg, WIBRE initially produced white goods for everyday use. Electric kettles, immersion heaters, toasters, soldering irons and hair driers – our name was already at that time a synonym for technical perfection and innovative spirit. In 1953, the company moved from Mecklenburg- Vorpommern to Baden-Wuerttemberg. Relocation went hand in hand with the company’s entry into the market for lighting technology. The first fountain spotlight and diverse spotlights for shop window lighting left our production facilities.

Be it lighting applications for swimming pools, fountains, decorative water displays, bridges, parks, buildings and facades or professional lighting design both outdoors and underwater – as a manufacturer of outdoor and underwater lights made of V4A stainless steel with protection systems IP67 and IP68, WIBRE has become an international market leader.
